Spirituality is usually considered to be a search for meaning in life.
Connecting into our spiritual support can help align us to our purpose. Spirituality can also assist us in encountering mystery and developing a relationship with it. It is also about transformation, for it challenges us to grow and expand.
Creativity is essentially the process of bringing something new into being.
To create, allows us to imagine the unseen – the spiritual mystery, and give shape and form to the new. It invites us to see the hidden deeper meaning of our life and our place in the world.
When considering Creativity and Spirituality you can see that in fact, they cannot be separated. They are both about journey and discovery. In all cultures, since time began, people have expressed their spirituality through creativity and their creativity through spirituality.
Ruth’s hands-on One Day Workshop
“Spirituality through Creativity”
will combine both aspects – Spirituality and Creativity – and inspire you to use your right brain to develop an understanding of how your personal creativity can lead you to a greater Spiritual awareness by learning to open up and allow the creative “essence” to flow with trust.
Using her own creative experiences and in combination with guided visualisation and meditation, Ruth will lead the group in a creative endeavour that will see each attendee create a beautiful item for their home whilst accessing a deeper spiritual connection.
This is a fun and intuitive-filled day utilising materials imported by Ruth from the UK specifically for the workshop.
